Starfield receives official mod support with Creations and new missions in today’s update

Starfield has recently received a big patch, which adds Creations with official mod support through the Creation Kit and new missions, as well as other content.

Perhaps it went a little unnoticed amid the many announcements of the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, but Starfield has just received a big update that brings new content of considerable depth, starting with the famous Creation Kit and new missions , as well as various fixes with the June 9th patch.

Creazioni effectively opens official support for mods in Starfield, an element long awaited by the community and which can have a fundamental importance for the Bethesda game, as the company’s previous titles have also taught us which have continued for years with new content created by users.

The Creations are therefore available from today in Starfield, immediately bringing a significant amount of additional content ranging from quests to structural changes to various customizations.

Lots of new content and potentially endless support for Starfield

You can find all the details on the Starfield update on June 9, 2024 at the address listed below as the “source” of the news.

Starfield: Shattered Space – The official trailer

We start from Creations, which can include new missions, equipment, skins, weapons and much more , including elements created by Bethesda itself but above all many built directly by users, which should grow in quantity significantly in the coming months.

Creations can be accessed directly from the in-game menu, and owners of the Premium Edition of Starfield will also find 1,000 Creation Credits to spend immediately. Note that, at the same time as this option, the Starfield Creation Kit was also published by Steam, which allows users to directly build new content.

New missions have been added to Starfield as part of the update: these are quests offered by the Liquidators’ Alliance and concern various bounties to be collected around the universe.

The first of these, “The Star Thief”, puts us in contact with a mysterious Liquidator who moves between the settlements of the Colonized Systems, giving rise to an exciting hunt. The Liquidators’ Alliance’s second mission, “The Vulture”, is available in the new Creations menu.

The June 9th update also introduced a bounty scanner that allows you to identify and destroy (or “peacefully deal with…?”) targets that have a bounty on their head. Further information on the topic can be found on the Liquidators Alliance elite member mission board.

On the fix front, the new patch introduces “general performance and stability improvements” as well as various fixes to bugs and issues found within Starfield so far.

During the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, the Shattered Space expansion was also presented with a trailer and a release period confirmed for this year, although still without a precise launch date.
