Helldivers 2: the new Order asks you to massacre Automaton to unlock a Stratagem

Helldivers 2 players are now tasked with exterminating 2 billion Automaton to obtain a new Stratagem, but the mission isn’t going so well.

Arrowhead Games Studio, sorry, Super Earth has announced a new Master Order for Helldivers 2 players , who now have the goal of eliminating 2 billion Automaton within five days to unlock a new Stratagem.

To be precise, if successful, players will obtain the MD-17 anti-tank mines , or one of the two Stratagems, together with the RL-77 rocket launcher, up for grabs with the “Legitimate Defense” order launched at the end of April .

Previously, the Helldivers 2 community managed to complete a similar order in mid-April, which called for 2 billion Terminids to be eliminated, in just 24 hours . It seemed like an extraordinary feat at the time, but in hindsight we know that much of the credit goes to a bug with the kill counter , which incorrectly counted up to four times the actual numbers, fixed in patch 1,000,302 published on May 7th, corrected in patch 1,000,302 published on May 7th , which among other things also corrected a bug relating to DoTs (acronym for Damage Over Time, i.e. damage over time from fire and other sources).

The issue was also nicely converted into game narrative , associating the problem with a software problem at the fictional Battlefield Systems, with the message reading: “Battlefield Systems regrets to inform all Helldivers that, due to a software problem, There is a double reporting of enemies killed during a previous Main Order. This issue has now been resolved. Users will need to allow longer times to reach the required quota of enemies to kill or dismantle Battlefields will work perfectly again from now on.”

The Helldivers are in danger of failure

This time, therefore, players will have to face an even more difficult challenge than in the past. As proof of this, at the time of writing, just under 375,000 Automaton of the 2 billion requested ( 18.7% of the total ) had been eliminated 3 days and 23 hours after the end of the Main Order. In short, the community could face failure this time.

Having said that, there are still several days to go and there is still a good part of the weekend to raise the count of Automaton killed and, to combine business with pleasure, also accumulate Super Credits to purchase the new Polar Patriots War Bond .
