Fallout 4 will receive another graphics update next week on all platforms
While Bethesda hasn’t specified what exactly will be included in the update, it is promising new options for graphics and performance settings – something many are still waiting for after the muddled “next-gen” patch that came out in April.
Additionally, the studio is also promising general fixes and improvements across the board. Bethesda did not explain why all this was not included in the April patch.
Fallout 4 has seen a big surge in popularity since the Amazon series debuted last month. Shortly after the series’ release, the number of Fallout players increased several times across all platforms. And a few days later it turned out that Fallout 4 became the best-selling game in Europe that week.
And even now that the initial hype around the show has died down a bit, the game is still performing well. Earlier this week, PlayStation shared its download charts for April, and Fallout 4 proudly topped the PS4 list for the month both overseas and in Europe.
As for the Fallout series, Amazon has renewed it for a second season. Let’s hope it comes out soon enough.
