Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: the director has been promoted to Square Enix manager

Naoki Hamaguchi, the director of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, has been promoted to manager of Square Enix, evidently thanks to the success of the game.

Was Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a success or not? It’s hard to say, but Square Enix must be more than satisfied in some way, given that it promoted its director, Naoki Hamaguchi , to the role of manager of the company.

It should be noted that Hamaguchi was promoted together with four other people: Tomoya Asano, the producer of the Octopath Traveler series, Takeshi Nozue, the general manager of Foamstars, Takayuki Hamada and Takamasa Shiba, the producer of The DioField Chronicle . Five will join the management staff which also includes Naoki Yoshida, director and producer of Final Fantasy 14, as well as director of Final Fantasy 16 , and Yoshinori Kitase, the producer of the Final Fantasy series.
