World of Warcraft: The War Within shows itself with a trailer which announces the release date on PC

During the Xbox Games Showcase, the release date of World of Warcraft: The War Within was finally announced via a cinematic trailer that traces the history of the MMO.

Among the protagonists of the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 there was also World of Warcraft: The War Within , the new expansion of Blizzard’s famous MMO. For the occasion we saw a new cinematic trailer, at the end of which the release date is indicated. It will be available on PC starting August 26, 2024 .

The film offers us a journey through the various “eras” of World of Warcraft and the most important characters of Blizzard’s long-lived MMORPG, up to the next adventure, The War Within.

The beginning of a new era

The War Within is the first of three expansions announced by Blizzard that will form the World Soul Saga trilogy , the others being Midnight and The Last Titan, and “a new foundation for the future of Azeroth”. In the first part, players will descend into the heart of Azeroth and come into contact with the ancient civilizations that populate it.
