To download Destiny 2: The Final Shape on PC you will need 300 GB of free space
Bungie has released preload information for Destiny 2’s major expansion, The Final Shape. . People with a small amount of free storage space and slow Internet will have a hard time.
The size of the patch with expansion will be from 110 to 165 GB depending on the platform. The free space required for preloading is approximately the same, except for PC – there you will need 279.66 GB (EGS) or 299.70 GB (Steam).
This large size on PC is due to the way the Epic Games Store and Steam handle pre-loading. Once installed, the overall size of the game will be significantly reduced as the old version will be removed, freeing up a significant amount of space.
PC users can skip the pre-download, wait for the full release of Final Form, and simply download the 144.61 GB (EGS) or 155.50 GB (Steam) patch.

June 3 Destiny 2 will go into daily server maintenance. This will happen at 19-00 Moscow time. The servers will be turned back on the next day at 20-00 Moscow time. Preloading of the expansion will begin on June 3 at 20-00 Moscow time.

Bungie recalled that as of June 4, Destiny 2 will no longer support Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1. You can play after this date, but performance and support from the developer are not guaranteed.
