Silent Hill 2’s new Angela will not be changed, despite criticism from the community over her appearance
Bloober Team has confirmed that Angela’s model seen at the recent presentation is the definitive one and will not be modified, despite the criticism.
Do you remember when you were little and they told you that external appearance isn’t important? It’s not true, at least not for many gamers who started criticizing the remake of Silent Hill 2 after seeing Angela Orosco’s model , guilty of having a normal appearance compared to the original, in which she was objectively thinner.
The remake of Silent Hill 2 is in development at Bloober Team. During the recent State of Play, the trailer was published which revealed the release date: October 8, 2024. It also showed various aspects of the gameplay, such as the combat system, as well as some characters, such as Maria and, indeed, Angela .

As you can imagine, there is no shortage of controversy also for Maria’s new appearance, according to the most critics not adequately sexualized , considering her role in the game.
I’m just gonna come out and say it: the old Maria character design was objectively better.
