The creators of Wipeout and Skate make a futuristic sports game
A game studio called Starlight Games was opened in Liverpool , founded by Gary Nichols (former developer of Psygnosis). The team includes producer Andy Santos (who worked on EA’s Skate) and Nick Burcombe (one of the creators of Wipeout for PlayStation).
The newly formed team has already announced work on three games: a sequel to House of Golf, released in 2019, a futuristic sports game and a roguelite action game in a science fiction setting. Titles are produced using Unreal Engine 5.
