The Ubisoft Forward began with an exciting ten-minute-plus Star Wars Outlaws gameplay footage, followed by a second trailer.
Ubisoft Forward gets off to a strong start with a ten-minute-plus gameplay video of the highly anticipated Star Wars Outlaws , followed by another video of the same game, arriving August 30, 2024 on PC, Xbox Series PC. The video begins with a reference to one of the very first Star Wars games in wireframe graphics, then we see the protagonist Kay Vess walking around a club, then she goes out to go to her spaceship and start a search mission. We see her wandering around a market, where she can purchase supplies, then reach the aircraft and go and sit at the controls.
Having left for space, she finds herself in an asteroid field where she is attacked by some criminals. She begins the fight that allows us to evaluate the combat system , with the narrator explaining how Vess’ reputation is affected by these exploits.
Lots of details
After a hyperspace jump, Kay finds herself in Totooine’s orbit. We then see the spaceship fly towards the planet, cross the atmosphere and arrive at Mos Eisley , one of the most iconic places in the saga. The city appears to have been beautifully recreated, as can be seen from the places Kay visits in the footage.

Then the action switches to the vehicle driving system, with the journeys being defined as real adventures. Kay then arrives in front of a heavily defended fortress, which she begins to infiltrate. Here it is possible to evaluate the stealth system , with ours proceeding on all fours so as not to be seen and using its companion to distract an enemy and knock him down without making any noise. She enters a house, she knocks down another enemy and kills a second with the pistol, after being noticed.
Now discovered, Kay must start shooting, facing the enemies present in the base and then flee in her vehicle with which she returns to the city. Note that when she arrives it is night. Here she talks to a non-player character, then she begins a sequence of scenes showing other planets and other game systems.
The second video takes a broader overview of the gameplay, showing different locations and explaining what Kay can do during his adventures. In short, the first Star Wars themed open world seems to be a dream come true for fans of the series.
