Ubisoft presented Season 1 of XDefiant, which promises to be particularly rich in content. Here is the release date and the news presented at Ubisoft Forward.
During tonight’s Ubisoft Forward there was also space to announce some news for XDefiant , the free-to-play multiplayer shooter launched a few weeks ago on PC and console. For the occasion, the release date of Season 1 “GSK” was revealed and the new content arriving for all players.
The launch of the first season is set for July 2nd , preceded by a dedicated presentation with great fanfare scheduled for the day before, July 1st, where more details will be offered on the new content and the balance changes that will be introduced by the developers.

In the meantime, in the trailer below we can get a taste of the main news coming to XDefiant. The prominent one is the new GSK faction , with its three operators who will be added to those already available in the title. Three new weapons will also arrive with them.

The news doesn’t end here. In fact, Season 1 of XDefiant will add a new map every month . The first will be Clubhouse, followed by Daytona and Rockefeller. The new Capture the Flag mode will also be added and a new progression system will be introduced for competitive modes with more rewards. Further innovations are also planned, which as previously mentioned will be revealed in the dedicated presentation on July 1st.
