Newly released city building simulator Bulwark received a major free update
2024 could be one of the best years for city planning simulators. While there remain some problematic areas in the form of Cities: Skylines 2, titles have already been released or are about to be released that will correct the reputation of the genre. An example of this is Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles. The game was released at the end of March, but the developer is actively supporting it and has released an update.
The Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles update, Tribute, Trade and Spoils, brings new features and improvements to the quirky city-building sim. This is the first of major updates planned for the year that creator Thomas Sala intends to provide to gamers. The release of the update adds new mechanics to Bulwark focused on diplomacy, enemy plunder, new ships and captains, as well as improvements aimed at the user interface, cinematics and end-game.
New features in the Tribute, Trade and Loot update center around the introduction of Shards, a currency that can be found by defeating enemies or collected during world events. They can be used to build extractors and are also linked to the diplomacy system and trade prowess of new captains and ships. This all adds a nice new dimension to the game that should help deepen the possibilities even further.
Newly released city building simulator Bulwark received a major free update. To celebrate the launch of Tribute, Trade and Spoils, the price of Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles has been reduced by 20% on Steam until May 22nd .
