HOW DOES HELLDIVERS 2 WORK? GUIDE AND TRICKS FOR BEGINNERS

Recharge only when needed
As you may have noticed, in Helldivers 2 it is not possible to know exactly the amount of ammunition in the weapon magazine and the only way to adjust in this sense is to observe the magazine-shaped indicator which empties as the trigger is pressed . Keeping an eye on the remaining ammunition is essential, since reloading in the PC and PlayStation 5 exclusive works differently than in many other shooters: in the inventory we don’t have bullets but magazines and proceeding with their replacement ensures that the unused ones are permanently lost .
So if you are used to reloading after each shot, know that this system will cause you a lot of problems in Helldivers 2. However, there are some exceptions such as the revolver, whose operation is the classic one and allows you to insert individual bullets into the magazine, without any loss in case of error.
Changed weapons
Although it is not explained in any way in the Helldivers 2 tutorial, it is possible to make some small changes to the weapons , in order to make them perfect for various situations.
While holding a gun, simply hold down the Square button to display a practical interface through which you can change the rate of fire, vary the zoom of the viewfinder and customize any accessories mounted on the weapon.
Unlock the Ship Modules
In Helldivers 2 there is no real progression and all the equipment initially available can very well be used in operations with the highest difficulty level. However, there is the possibility of unlocking small upgrades which, although not revolutionizing the gameplay, allow you to have some convenient benefits: we are talking about the Ship Modules.
Unlike power-ups that occupy an equipment slot, modules are permanent improvements that are unlocked by spending generous amounts of the materials that can be recovered during missions and which are shared among all members of the team (there is no need to plunder the bodies of fallen allies). Some of these reduce the reload times of Stratagems, and others, like Donation Access License , allow you to drop a heavy weapon with full ammo. So don’t ignore the module menu and invest the resources accumulated between one mission and another.
Choose your Stratagems carefully
Before launching onto a planet with a Hellpod, in Helldivers 2 you will have to choose which Stratagems to take with you into the field. Although this choice may seem marginal for the purposes of the experience, we assure you that it is not: carefully selecting which aids can be called into battle is essential, especially if you play at the highest difficulty levels.
So try to balance between heavy weapons, air attacks and technological devices , also making sure to fill any gaps in your allies’ inventory. If you already have turrets, for example, you could use one of your shield slots. Also don’t forget that some Stratagems have a limited number of uses , while others have unlimited uses and only require you to wait a few seconds before they can be activated again.
Complete daily missions
Unless you complete missions non-stop on the highest difficulties, saving up Medals in Helldivers 2 will be a rather complex undertaking. In this regard, we suggest you never ignore the so-called Individual Order , i.e. the daily mission that is assigned to each player daily at 1:00 am in the Italian time zone.
This is often a simple challenge to complete and completion of which allows you to receive 15 Medals as a reward . For those who don’t know, this is the currency to purchase the Battle Pass rewards, whose pages include firearms, grenades, armor, upgrades and other cosmetic elements.
Free Super Credits
