As you well know by now, for a few days now Diablo 4 has officially become part of the increasingly rich catalog of PC and Xbox Game Pass, allowing all subscribers to the service to enjoy the action RPG signed by Blizzard Entertainment at no additional cost . But is it possible to play it via streaming too?
Unfortunately, the answer is no . Completely unexpectedly, Diablo 4 is not part of the products available in the Microsoft subscription service catalog which can also be played via browser or app thanks to Xbox Cloud Gaming . The extra feature, which we remind you is exclusive to users who have an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, i.e. the most expensive version of the service, does not include action RPG among the supported games.
At the moment it is not clear whether there are technical problems behind this unexpected absence or whether the failure to introduce Diablo 4 in the Xbox Cloud Gaming library has to do with the agreements made between Microsoft and Ubisoft for the streaming of Activision titles.
We cannot therefore exclude that an official statement from the Redmond giant on the issue will arrive in the next few weeks or that, surprising everyone, the game could arrive on Xbox Game Cloud like all the other first party titles.
While waiting for clarity, we remind you that just a few days ago tests began for mouse and keyboard support for games started via Xbox Cloud Gaming .
