Cloud Imperium has updated Star Citizen system requirements for PC,Cloud Imperium has updated the official system requirements for the PC version of Star Citizen. These new requirements apply to the alpha version of the game and not to the final release.

To run Star Citizen you will need a PC capable of executing AVX instructions. Processors that do not meet this requirement will not be able to run the game. In addition, you need a video card with at least 4 GB of video memory and a driver that supports Vulkan 1.2.

Minimum requirements include a quad-core processor and 16 GB of RAM. Cloud Imperium specified Intel i7 and AMD Bulldozer as the minimum required CPUs. As for graphics cards, you will need an NVIDIA GTX1060, AMD RX 5700, RX Vega 56, RX 460 or Intel A380.

Cloud Imperium recommends using quad/octa-core Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 5 processors with 32 GB of RAM. Surprisingly, the team did not indicate any recommended graphics cards, limiting itself to the phrase “DirectX 12-compatible graphics card with 8 GB of video memory.”

It’s also worth noting that the game will now require 100 GB of free disk space. The developers recommend using an SSD for the best gaming experience.
