A comment from BioWare confirmed that The Veilguard will give players six factions to choose from when creating their character, all with “deep roots in Thedas.” Three examples were given: Antivan Crows, Gray Wardens, and Shadow Dragons. BioWare has confirmed that players can customize their Inquisitor, the protagonist of Dragon Age: Inquisition (the previous chapter), in the RPG’s character creator and “make some key decisions that will impact how The Veilguard begins”.
