Will State of Decay 3 be at the Xbox Games Showcase tonight? A leak seems to confirm it
An Undead Labs press kit leaked online ahead of time appears to confirm the presence of State of Decay 3 at tonight’s Xbox Games Showcase and a rebranding for Undead Labs.
Having disappeared from the radar for years now, State of Decay 3 is definitely one of the games Xbox users want to see again during tonight’s Xbox Game Showcase . And apparently they will be satisfied. In fact, an information leak caused unintentionally by Undead Labs seems to confirm the presence of the game at the Microsoft event, where a new trailer will apparently be shown for the occasion .
As reported by Gematsu, the development studio has published a State of Decay 3 press kit ahead of time, with an attached press release which specifically talks about a new trailer for the game shown during the Verdecrociato showcase. Clearly the document should have reached the press only after the publication of the film.
Is the exit still far away?
The press release not only communicates the publication of a new trailer for State of Decay 3, but also talks about a collaboration with 51 Eggs for a rebranding of Undead Labs , complete with a new logo (which you can see in X’s post below ), which is defined as necessary to “make sure that the brand reflects how much the team has grown and changed” since its foundation as an independent studio in 2009. Recall that it was acquired by Microsoft in 2018 and is now part of the Xbox Games Studio .

Unfortunately, the press release does not mention a release date or a launch window , not even indicative, a sign that perhaps the development of State of Decay 3 is still far from completion. Regardless, we’ll find out the truth in a matter of hours. The Xbox Games Showcase will in fact be broadcast tonight at 7pm Italian time, followed by the presentation of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
