The new Manor Lords update completely changes the game economy
Manor Lords, one of the big hits of 2024, has been updated and now the in-game economy has been vastly improved, much to the delight of those who found it unsuitable.
Slavic Magic has published a major update to Manor Lords , which we remind you is still in early access, which resolves several technical problems and completely overhauls the game’s economic system . New objects and some features are also added, so much so that the developer recommends starting a new save to see all the changes, perhaps removing the installed mods to avoid compatibility problems.
For those who don’t know, Manor Lords is a medieval-themed city builder with strategic elements a la Total War . It launched in April and immediately became one of the best-selling PC games of the year , with extremely positive reviews from the public and great acclaim from critics. Of course, being in Early Access it still has some issues to work out, but nothing that can’t be addressed.
Lots of news
The new update is 0.7.972 and it really changes a lot of things, adding for example interregional trade through commercial outposts , or periods of mourning for the deceased. Also added are new crown taxes, armor variants, a new version of the large barn, and more. In short, there is a lot to try, also considering the rebalancing of resources and agriculture.

At the push of the community, changes were also introduced, such as increasing the weight that can be carried by workers in the commercial outposts and increasing the fertility of the land. In general, the experience has been made slightly less difficult , which will make novices or those who don’t want to get too stressed while playing happy. Naturally there are also new features from a technical point of view, such as the elimination of some glitches and the possibility of selecting the upscaling system.
