The Japanese trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows inevitably has an edge

We’ve seen the cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows dubbed in English, but how does the Japanese one sound? Exactly as you imagine.

Given the setting of feudal Japan, it was inevitable that the Japanese trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows had an edge over the one initially released by Ubisoft, spoken in English.

We know for sure that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will include dubbing in Italian , but those who want to live this experience in the most authentic way possible will be able to opt for dubbing in Japanese , using subtitles in our language.

It is no coincidence that Ghost of Tsushima, also available on PC for a few days has made this possibility a real feature , allowing you to choose at the beginning of the campaign whether you want to listen to Japanese voices for absolute immersion in the atmosphere of the game .

Take a look (again!) at the Assassin’s Creed Shadows trailer, below, and tell us your opinion: how does it sound in Japanese?

Two protagonists, two different approaches

In addition to the setting, among the peculiarities of Assassin’s Creed Shadows there is that of the two protagonists , Yasuke and Naoe: the first is a large and heavy samurai, virtually unstoppable in a head-on clash; the second is a silent and fast shinobi, who prefers to eliminate her enemies by striking them by surprise.

In the game it will be possible to switch from one character to another at any time , although there will probably be missions or sequences in which we will be forced to take on the role of one or the other, and the gameplay will change accordingly.

In fact, we will be able to choose whether to face a certain task counting on the favor of darkness, climbing walls and moving in the shadows to reach the objective, or openly challenge our opponents and open a passage by scattering their corpses along the way.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available from November 15th on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series
