The Helldivers 2 community must remain civil according to the new CEO of Arrowhead Games
The new CEO of Arrowhead Studios has invited the Helldivers 2 community to remain civil, in order to continue the dialogue with the development studio about the game.
Shams Jorjani, the new CEO of Arrowhead, called on the Helldivers 2 community to remain civil . He did so in an open letter published on Reddit about the future of the game, in which he also spoke about the new role of former studio head Johan Pilestedt. According to Jorjani, the team will continue to work closely with Sony , adding new content to the game and maintaining an open dialogue with the community.
“I have tasked [Pilestedt] to be the Obi-Wan to our studio’s many ‘Luke’s,” Jorjani wrote of the future of Helldivers 2. “If everyone will hear [Pilestedt]’s wise voice in their heads when balancing weapons, designing missions or enemies, the better. That doesn’t mean he’s always right… but we intend to keep him on his toes, and he will do it with us.”
Relationships with Sony
In the letter, Jorjani calls PlayStation a “fantastic partner ,” adding that Arrowhead will “continue to work closely with Sony and improve the game for as many people as possible.” This is an expected statement, considering the conflicts between the two companies due to Sony’s attempt to pass the obligation to have a PSN account to play on PC .

After talking about wanting to create an infrastructure that supports the addition of new content, Jorjani says he wants to keep the dialogue open with players , but hopes the community remains civil: “Pilestedt and I will always be active, but we will still be more if things are more civil and fun. So I ask you to help us make the atmosphere positive for everyone.”
