A Famiboards leak has revealed the code name of Nintendo Switch 2 and the acronyms of numerous related products, those short alphanumeric codes that identify every single accessory, the console and obviously the games.
As for the codename, some dataminer analyzes have identified the Nintendo Switch 2 codename as MUJI , but this information is perhaps the least important of all. Yes, because the existence of numerous accessories is also reported, for example a case with dimensions of 206 x 115 x 14mm, measurements which ideally give us an idea of the possible dimensions of Switch 2.
The console seems to be associated with the code HGU1100 while HGU1110 is the left Joy-Con, HGU1120 the right Joy-Con and HGU1130 the dock. As for the Switch 2 Joy-Cons, these should have a magnetic attachment and no longer via the side guides. Furthermore, according to some rumors coming from Asian factories, Nintendo Switch 2 will have 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space .
For the moment these are just rumors, Nintendo Switch 2 could be released after April 1st 2025 while the presentation is expected during this fiscal year, i.e. no later than March 31st 2025 . Will we know more during the autumn? We hope so.
