Manor Lords, a medieval city-building game developed by solo developer Slavic Magic, has achieved significant success within hours of its early access release on Steam. The game quickly rose to number one in sales on the platform and number four in player count, with over 159,000 concurrent players.
Prior to its Early Access launch, Manor Lords received a lot of interest from the gaming community, with over 3 million users adding the game to their wishlists on Steam. The popularity of the game has increased sharply over the past week – another 500 thousand gamers added it to their wishlist.
According to the game’s Steam page, Manor Lords is expected to remain in Early Access for approximately a year, giving the developer ample time to develop the game’s foundation and refine its features.
