No matter how far you get, one of the things you definitely notice is the tranquilizer gun in Lucy’s hands. If you’re excited about it, then the new mod for Fallout 4 is definitely for you.
Lucy is a Vault Dweller in the series, and from the moment she begins to face the horrors of the Wasteland, she always has a dart launcher on hand, which proves to be quite useful… at times. The design of the weapon caught the attention of one experienced modder who is working on bringing the pistol into the game.
We’re talking about modder Neeher, who also works on a giant Fallout: London mod. The Dart Launcher from the series is his separate project called Select Blaster for Fallout 4.
I saw a Vanity Fair article about the Fallout series last year and came across an image of the main character Lucy posing with this cool gun. Many correctly assumed that it would be a tranquilizer gun. But I didn’t want to limit myself to just that, for me this gun looked more like an energy blaster!
So this mod is my interpretation of the weapons that were shown in the series. It can be a tranquilizer, but it can also be an energy weapon!
Lucy’s Dart Launcher from the Fallout series has already become a mod,If the pistol is modified into a laser blaster, it will run on energy cells rather than darts, a new type of ammunition. It also comes with a number of other customizations and modifications, including barrels and grips, that are purely cosmetic, allowing you to focus on making the gun look just the way you like it.
To get it, you need to go to the Overseer’s office of Vault 114, which you might remember from rescuing Nick Valentine during the game’s main quest.
