Are you a Helldivers 2 player and no longer want to use the weapons and armor available from day one? No problem, because in this guide we will explain how to unlock new ones.
Unlike other online multiplayer games, in Helldivers 2 equipment can only be obtained in one way: through War Bonds . For those who are unfamiliar with the Arrowhead Game Studios live service, when we talk about War Bonds we are referring to that content which is comparable to a Battle Pass.

Unlike what happens in other games, however, in the case of Helldivers 2 the War Bonds are added to those already previously available and there is therefore no danger that one of these will be removed to make room for newer ones. Not only that, any Battle Pass allows you to redeem rewards by spending Medals : in short, you can accumulate hundreds of these tokens and immediately unlock a newly published War Title.
Inside the passes it is possible to find upgrades to activate in the loadout screen, primary weapons, secondary weapons, grenades, helmets and armour. Obviously only the first War Title is free for everyone, but the others can be unlocked thanks to a bit of farming. Each of these passes can be purchased through Super Credits , the currency that can either be obtained for free in game or purchased in the store via microtransactions.
The only exception is armor , as users can also get head and body armor in the shop . In this case, however, the armor offers a different aesthetic from those available in the War Bonds but tends to have identical abilities to those of protections that can be obtained thanks to the various passes.
