Geoff Keighley revealed some of the games we’ll and won’t see at the Summer Game Fest Showcase
At the Summer Game Fest Showcase we will be able to see many games and developers, but exactly which ones? We don’t have a full list, but Geoff Keighley has revealed a partial list.
On June 7th we will have the opportunity to watch the Summer Game Fest Showcase , Geoff Keighely’s event, live . It will be the perfect space to see new games and familiar names in action, but exactly what can we expect from this show.
Keighely certainly can’t tell us everything, but he gave an idea of how much he will and won’t be present during the show.

What will be shown at the Summer Game Fest Showcase
Let’s start with what will be present. The host says that we will be able to see games like Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO , Metaphor: ReFantazio and Monster Hunter Wilds , which he is very excited about. He then explains that we will be able to admire a new trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and also for Batman: Arkham VR.
In general, we can expect that various developers will take the stage to talk about their games, and there will also be some unexpected indie games. There will be space for both classic single-player games and live services. He also said that we will see games about zombies (this is a joke related to the 2022 presentation which had lots of games about zombies and space). We may also see an announcement for a game from Blumhouse Games, the gaming division of the company known for low-budget horror.
There will be some new announcements, but mostly they will be updates from familiar names . We also shouldn’t fear that the presentation is full of announcements related to games for 2026/2027: they are mostly short-term products. There will also be space for a trailer for the Among Us animated series.
What won’t be at the Summer Game Fest Showcase
Speaking instead of ” negative ” things, Keighley confirmed what certainly will not be shown during the event. First of all, we shouldn’t expect something as incredible as a new GTA 6 trailer – lower your expectations. It also appears that there will not be a trailer for Silksong Hollow Knight , nor for Kingdom Hearts 4 , Wolf Among Us 2, Metal Gear Solid Delta, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Judas or Five Nights At Freddy’s.
Expanding on that, he said there will be no Muppets segment , no musical moment, no “announcement yet” as a final surprise and there won’t even be any giveaways. Finally, it seems that SEGA will have nothing to present and that Josef Fares, the creator of It Takes Two and A Way Out, will not be at the event: it must be said that this does not mean that he cannot present his new game, but we believe it is better not to have too much hope.
