Fortnite is about to eliminate censorship within an emote also linked to a Doja Cat song: this is what a data miner reveals.
HypeX , a well-known Fortnite data miner and leaker , reported that the game’s next update – expected to release on mobile, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series censoring the word “devil” in the Rebel emote.
We don’t know why the word was censored , but perhaps it had to do with the desire not to affect the game’s classification. We don’t even know why this decision was reversed.

It should also be noted that skins and songs that depict or reference the devil already exist, so it’s also possible that the censoring of the emote, which includes Doja Cat’s Paint The Town Red , was a mistake.
The emote was added this weekend alongside the new Coachella event. It is available in the Fortnite Item Shop starting April 11th. It will soon be replaced by the Sonic Surfer emote, which features the song Feather by Sabrina Carpenter .
