FINAL FANTASY VII: TIFA LOCKHART WILL ENCHANT YOU IN THIS PERFECT COSPLAY
The release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has brought the community’s attention and interest back to the second part of Cloud’s adventure, as reimagined by today’s Square Enix team, and, obviously, to his adventure companions, including finds childhood friend Tifa Lockhart, honored in a magnificent, incredibly faithful cosplay.
Although Rebirth was the best-selling game in Japan in March 2024 , revenue is quite low and not in line with the software house’s expectations, given that it sold about half as many copies as Final Fantasy VII Remake in the first weeks after the launch in April 2020. All in all, however, the game was received more than positively by both critics and fans of the genre, and many appreciated the insights into the various characters.
Already in the demo made available by Square Enix a few days after the actual launch it was possible, in fact, to explore a part of the story prior to the events seen in the previous title, getting to know a younger Cloud and Tifa, in their home village, Nibelheim in the mountains . This allowed players to discover more about their bond, and get a better sense of their growth, sparked by the horrific events triggered by Sephiroth.
If Cloud has changed a lot since he joined SOLDIER, Tifa has remained more similar to when she was a young girl, however becoming much more prepared in martial arts, thanks to Zangan’s teachings . To pay homage to her, cosplayer Soryu created the incredibly faithful interpretation that you can see below, enhancing the main features of her simple design, such as the scarlet eyes and red gloves .
