Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail already has the official launch trailer well in advance of the release
Square Enix has already published the launch trailer for Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail two weeks in advance of the release: so let’s see what’s new about the big expansion coming soon.
Although there are still more than two weeks left until its release, Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail has already received its official launch trailer , published today by Square Enix and visible below, containing various scenes taken from this new expansion.
The arrival of Dawntrail brings the game version to 7.0 , within a story that is now decidedly long but still well supported by Square Enix and, above all, by the players who continue to maintain the decidedly populous community.
Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail represents the new major expansion of the MMORPG, arriving on July 2, 2024 on PC and console, and will introduce several new features to the game world.
Lots of new features in the new expansion
We obviously start from the new explorable setting, represented by the continent of Tural , a major innovation for Square Enix’s online RPG.

With this will also come further innovations intended to further enrich the mechanics.
Among these we note two new jobs , i.e. the specializations to be applied to the characters, in this case Viper and Pictomancer, which further expand the characterization possibilities, as well as a new selectable race (the female Hrotgar) and a notable upgrade regarding the geography of the game.
The extraordinary contribution of content to Final Fantasy 14 therefore continues, which is about to reach its 14th anniversary, thanks also to the great relaunch received under the guidance of Naoki Yoshida after a start that was anything but sensational at the time of the first release.
We recently learned that the Final Fantasy 14 and 16 team is working on two new games , plus information on storytelling, Job identities, and design from the interview we had with the director.
