Cities: Skylines 2 developers will rework the in-game economy

Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order have shared details of the next update to the city-planning simulator Cities: Skylines II . The major patch, scheduled for release from June 3 to June 19, is designed to significantly rework the in-game economy.

The essence of the patch, according to the creators, is to increase the importance of managing the economy, increase the overall complexity and make it more clear to the player how the economy depends on his decisions.

In addition, the upcoming update of Cities: Skylines II will make improvements to the part regarding buildings. Players will be able to more freely place building upgrades around core structures, as well as remove and move certain upgrades.

A new patch is planned for Cities: Skylines II in the fall , which will include free content and a number of changes made based on user feedback. For example, updates to maintenance buildings and vehicles, as well as a surface tool that allows you to paint areas around buildings more freely.

The console version of Cities: Skylines II is still announced for October, but the developers do not rule out a postponement to a later date.
