Caracoles is now complete and available on iOS and Android: it is the slowest racing game in the world, starring snails.
Caracoles is a particular racing game that stands out for being the slowest of all , staging challenges between bizarre gelatinous creatures that seem to have something to do with snails, especially regarding their slowness.
We talked about it some time ago at the Red Bull Indie Forge, when the title in question was nominated as one of the finalists , and we’re talking about it again today because Caracoles is available on iOS and Android, downloadable for free from the App Store and Google Play Store .
Caracoles is based on a very simple gameplay, which essentially requires the use of a single finger, with which to trace a path from point A to point B for your “snail”, in order to look for trajectories capable of give us advantages over our opponents.
The snail race
Each snail boasts unique characteristics that influence its performance on the track such as health, maximum speed, resistance, vigor and determination, therefore various elements contribute to victory, starting from a careful choice of your creature based on the characteristics of the race.
The various Caracoles snails are also influenced by different “personalities”, which can be more or less fiery, relaxed, melancholy or lively, which in turn affects their performance in the race.
The circuits then present very particular designs, full of obstacles, treasures, dangers, traps, bizarre creatures and various surprises.
Caracoles also offers multiplayer for up to 100 players, including daily events such as tournaments and marathons, as well as other competitions of various types.
