Call of Duty will propose a cross-over with Gundam: let’s see how much of the new content has been shown and when it will be available in the shooter.
Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will receive cross-over content with Gundam when Season 4 launches on May 29 .
The information was shared officially via the social accounts dedicated to the Call of Duty saga . As you can see below, the tweet reads: “It’s time for the shadows to rise. Gundam is coming to Call of Duty with season 4.”

The video in the tweet , lasting just ten seconds, shows the shadow of a Gundam projected on the facade of a building with Japanese writing. Nothing special happens in the movie, as far as we can see, and the only animated elements are the illuminated signs and the leaves falling in front of the camera.
We can also note that at the bottom of the video it is specified that some elements of what is shown in the video are not actual gameplay of the Call of Duty x Gundam cross-over. But we see so little that there isn’t much to speculate about.
What we know about Call of Duty’s Gundam crossover
It’s actually no real surprise that Call of Duty decided to do a cross-over with Gundam. In fact, dataminers had discovered through the game code of season 3 of the shooter that content related to Japanese mechas was on the way.
We just have to wait for Activision Blizzard to share in detail the new features planned for Gundam content in Call of Duty. Which ones do you hope to find inside the shooter with the arrival of season 4 scheduled for May 29th?
