Call of Duty: here is the first teaser of the new game in the Activision Blizzard series
While waiting for the pompous presentation next month, the first teaser of the new Call of Duty coming out this year has arrived.
Surprisingly, what appears to all intents and purposes to be the first teaser of the next game in the Call of Duty series has appeared online , which we already know will be followed by a presentation with great fanfare next month.
But let’s go step by step. As reported by InsiderGaming, the web portal thetruthlies.com was opened in these minutes . Inside it is possible to interact with a sort of monitor and press buttons linked to turning it on, to raise and lower the volume, to change the channel or pause/resume a recording. By combining various actions you can see some real shots on the screen, which have been collected in order in the post about X below.

The footage shows a group of people entering a closed federal area at night, then entering a forest and reaching the top of what appears to be a mountain. It is actually Mount Rushmore , the famous monument in the Black Hills of Sudakota that depicts the faces of presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
Eventually we discover their goal, which is to vandalize the sculpture with giant bandages covering the presidents’ faces (image above). The first three form the phrase “The Truth Lies”, while the fourth depicts the symbol of a Cerberus , which is practically identical to the one that can be glimpsed in the image published by Microsoft to advertise the mysterious appointment that will take place air right after next month’s Xbox Games Showcase.
New at the Xbox Games Showcase
This is clearly a teaser for the new Call of Duty, although at least apparently it offers practically no noteworthy information about the game. The interesting thing is that the Cerberus symbol is linked to the rumors that the next game in the series will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, codenamed Cerberus , and we doubt this is a coincidence.
In short, we just have to wait for 7pm Italian time on June 9th , or when the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 will air, to find out what’s cooking at Activision Blizzard.
