DRAGON AGE DREADWOLF CHANGES NAME AND BECOMES THE VEILGUARD: DATE AND TIME OF THE GAMEPLAY REVEAL
In the midst of the community debate on the rumored presence of Dragon Age Dreadwolf at the Summer Game Fest, BioWare itself bursts in with the surprise announcement of the name change of the next chapter of the RPG and the confirmation of a new extended gameplay video which, however, will make you wait a few more days.
But let’s proceed in order and start from the news of the name change. From the columns of the official BioWare website, the executive producer and General Manager of the EA subsidiary Gary McKay reveals that the new chapter of the series will officially be called Dragon Age The Veilguard .
According to what McKay claimed, the choice to rename Dreadwolf in The Veilguard would be the reflection of BioWare’s desire to more faithfully reflect the vision outlined by the North American software house in “creating worlds of adventure, conflict and companionship, where you are at the center of everything. Each Dragon Age game has created a story of its own. In the new chapter of the series there will be seven unique companions, each of which will offer a deep plot that will be influenced by the decisions made by the hero Of course, the Dreadwolf will have a central role in the story, but the heart of the experience is represented by the relationship between the hero and his companions in adventure , therefore we decided to change the name to reflect the extraordinary importance of this relationship, of the stories of the individual companions and their centrality in the challenges to be undertaken to save Thedas once again” .
After outlining BioWare’s vision, McKay urges all Dragon Age fans to tune in to the social profiles of the EA subsidiary from 5pm Italian time on Tuesday 11 June to admire the Gameplay Reveal of Dragon Age The Veilguard , a digital event that will be the backdrop to over 15 minutes of gameplay and many other surprises related to the new chapter of this beloved role-playing series in development on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series
