As promised, Bethesda has released the current generation hardware update for Fallout 4, now native for PS5 and Xbox Series
As promised , Bethesda has published the update for PS5 and Xbox Series Furthermore, with the mega patch a package of free content has also arrived , which can be downloaded directly from the Creation Club. Let’s see all the new features.
The various modes for PS5 and Xbox Series
The official release note talks about the addition of Performance and Quality modes to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions. Let’s see the characteristics of both:
- Performance Mode : 60 FPS, 4K resolution, Standard settings, relies on dynamic resolution scaling.
- Quality Mode : 30 FPS*, 4K resolution, Ultra settings, should not require dynamic resolution scaling.
*When connecting to a 120 Hz screen, Quality mode will aim for 40 FPS. *When connecting to a 1440p display, the title will run at 1440p resolution at 60 FPS on Ultra settings regardless of rendering mode.
Among the other innovations we find the release on the Epic Games Store, the addition of support for widescreen and ultrawide screens, verification on Steam Deck , so that even owners of the hybrid between a console and a PC can enjoy the new version of the game, and the addition of a menu that notifies you which content is installed.
