At the end of March, journalist Tom Henderson spoke about the complex development of the shooter XDefiant . The material, among other things, contained information that Ubisoft allegedly refused to release the title on PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
On May 2, Ubisoft San Francisco confirmed this information. It was originally planned that XDefiant would be released on previous generation platforms some time after the release on current ones.

XDefiant, meanwhile, is preparing to launch on May 21 . At launch, the free-to-play shooter will have 14 maps, 5 modes, 5 factions and 24 weapons. Over the four seasons after release, XDefiant promises to add a total of 4 factions, 12 weapons and 12 maps.
XDefiant will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
