This is what Ghost of Tsushima looks like with a ray tracing mod and DLSS 3 in 8K resolution
Some modifications have already begun to appear for the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima, so now you can take a look at what this port looks like on powerful hardware and with additional graphic gadgets.
YouTuber Beyond Dreams showed Ghost of Tsushima in 8K resolution with a ray tracing preset from Massihancer. In addition to this, the demo uses NiceGuy’s full Ray Tracing shader, offering global illumination, environmental occlusion, volumetric fog, color grading and more.
To launch, the YouTuber used the following configuration:
- Motherboard : Asus Prime Z 790
- Processor : Intel 14700K
- RAM : Corsair Vengeance 32 GB
- Video card : Nvidia RTX 4090 ASUS TUF
- SSD : Samsung 870 Evo 1 TB
- HDD : WD 1 TB
- Water cooling system : Arctic Freezer 280
- Power Supply : EVGA Supernova G3 850W
This is not to say that tracing adds something incredible. Some elements are better and the contrast is higher, but overall, even the base game looks good.
