WB Games and Player First Games have announced that the MultiVersus fighting game featuring characters from Warner Bros. franchises. will return to players on May 28th. On this day there will be a full release of the title after the beta, which took place from the summer of 2022 to the summer of 2023.

Since the end of June last year, MultiVersus has been unavailable – the servers were turned off, and the game itself was removed from digital platforms. All accumulated progress and purchased cosmetics will be transferred to the final build.

MultiVersus director Tony Huynh said his team made a number of player-based changes during the extra time. For example, new heroes and locations were added, and the engine changed to Unreal Engine 5. The network code was also completely updated.

Every existing MultiVersus character has new attacks and combo mechanics. Player First Games also added a separate PvE mode to the fighting game with unique rewards.

MultiVersus will be released on PC and consoles of both generations. The fighting game is shareware.
