The ranking of the best sellers on Steam without counting free to play
If, however, you prefer to see the list of games that have earned the most but eliminating these titles that Steam categorizes as pure free to play (and which therefore only earn money from microtransactions), the Top 20 is made up as follows:
- Steam Decks
- Call of Duty HQ
- ELDEN RING
- Soulmask
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – BlackCell (Season 4)
- Rust
- Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR’S CUT
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- F1 24
- Monster Hunter: World
- Destiny 2: The Ultimate Form
- Diablo IV
- ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree
- HELLDIVERS 2
- Sons Of The Forest
- Baldur’s Gate 3
- Dead by Daylight
- FINAL FANTASY XIV Online
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
- Hogwarts Legacy
Obviously some of the games in this second list still earn money through microtransactions , such as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and Dead by Daylight , but this Top 20 still allows us to get a slightly more precise idea of which games are which sell the most in this period.
We see for example that Monster Hunter World, which was previously out of the Top 100, has reappeared: these sales were probably driven by the new presentation of Monster Hunter Wilds .
We also point out that in the case of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree these are pre-purchases , given that FromSoftware’s action role-playing game has not yet been published.
