The new Stellar Blade update has added free costumes and changes to hairstyles

Stellar Blade received new content today via a free update. Among the new features are extra costumes for Eve and changes to the hairstyle customization system.

Post-launch support from the Shift Up Games team continues for Stellar Blade. In particular, today the Korean team published the new patch 1.004 which, as confirmed by users on Reddit, added two new costumes and a feature relating to Eve’s hairstyles.

As we can see in the shots below shared on Reddit, a variant of Eve’s bunny costume has been added, which is unlocked by tackling the boss challenge on the difficult level, and a new outfit characterized by the evergreen pair of jeans and t-shirt, which can be purchased from Roxanne at Xion.

Again thanks to user reports, we learn that with update 1.04 of Stellar Blade it brings a small but appreciable change to the hairstyles of the protagonist Eve, which can now be changed on the fly directly from the game menus, without having to go to Xion every time. For the moment we don’t know there is any further news, in the absence of official notes from the developers.

The big absence from the patch is the much requested Photo mode, which at this point is likely to be introduced with a subsequent update over the next few weeks or months. In any case, the developers’ effort to add small bonuses in terms of content and improvements to keep players’ interest alive is appreciable. On the contrary, the choice to remove the free demo of Stellar Blade from the PlayStation Store without any warning , now replaced by a timed trial version exclusive to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, has caused controversy .
