A few weeks after the launch of The First Descendant, the developers of Nexon Games talked about the endgame contents proposed by the game, which seem to give players a hard time.

The First Descendant finally has a release date, set for July 2nd for PS5, Xbox Series In a long video diary, for example, the Nexon Games team spoke in depth about how the endgame of this looter shooter will be structured. There would seem to be a lot of irons in the fire on paper, although it will only be possible to evaluate this with certainty in the months following the launch.

To begin, once you have seen the credits and entered the endgame, players should set themselves the goal of obtaining all the various unlockable Descendants, in addition to unlocking all the ultimate weapons , which boast unique statistics and abilities. Furthermore, in this sense, Nexon states that additional characters and arsenal will be added in the future through updates.

Replayable missions, raid bosses and high-level challenges

This isn’t the only end-game activity. In fact, players will be able to replay the story missions , but this time with the possibility of selecting a higher difficulty level to obtain better rewards. In the same way it will be possible to repeat the Infiltration Missions , i.e. the multiplayer missions, and attempt to obtain prizes of increasingly higher quality, activating a series of modifiers that will alter not only the level of challenge but also the approach necessary to emerge victorious.

Additionally, there will be Special Operations , which has been described as the hardest content in The First Descendant’s endgame. These are challenges entirely based on round-based combat, where players must face hordes of increasingly fierce and tough enemies, with the rewards varying depending on the results obtained. Initially, three types of special operations will be available, each with different rules and dangers.

Finally, the Void Intercept Battles are mentioned , i.e. battles against gigantic enemies within limited arenas. A sort of raid boss, with succulent rewards up for grabs, including new Descendants to unlock.
