The success of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 gameplay trailer was truly extraordinary, so much so that it set a record for the series: let’s find out how many times it has been seen so far.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 gameplay trailer is the most viewed ever for the Activision series: just two days after its release, the video has totaled almost 50 million views on YouTube.
This is an extraordinary success, probably linked to the confirmation that the new episode will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from launch : an element which on paper should significantly boost subscriptions and sales of Microsoft consoles.
However, the great curiosity surrounding the game is also influenced by the new setting of the Gulf War : a decidedly more recent and vivid conflict compared to those to which the franchise had accustomed us, and which will mark the return of iconic characters such as Frank Woods and Russell Adler.
Xbox has dropped the ace
If it is true that the acquisition of Activision Blizzard was so strongly desired precisely because of Call of Duty and its incredible popularity, it is clear that bringing the game to Game Pass represents the proverbial ace for Xbox.

Naturally, the shooter did not become a Microsoft exclusive for a whole series of reasons, from the agreements signed with Sony and the antitrust authorities to a simple question of commercial convenience, but the fact that it is free represents a strong incentive in any case.
Even more so if, as we imagine will happen, all the previous chapters of the series produced by Activision will also appear in the catalog of the subscription service .
