While the future of Suicide Squad is extremely uncertain once the current roadmap is concluded , Rocksteady Studios continues to work on its cooperative Action/Adventure ensuring the arrival of new content. And specifically, the curtain has been raised on Season 2 of Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League .
The new Season will officially kick off on PC , PlayStation 5 , and Xbox Series X/S on July 11, 2024, and the biggest news is the arrival of the supervillain Mrs. Freeze , aka Victoria Frias , who has fearsome ice powers to destroy her enemies. Season 2 will be divided into two episodes: the third, titled Frozen Hearts , will add new weapons, the new map Elseworlds Mayhem , additional boss fights with Brainiac , and a new Battle Pass. With the fourth episode, Winter , more original weapons, new raids, new items in the shop, and more battles with Brainiac will be added.
For those who still play Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League, the summer of 2024 looks set to be a glacial one with these new features, which will be followed by the others already confirmed by Rocksteady who will continue to update the game at least until 2025. The huge commercial flop of the work still leaves heavy shadows on the future, considering that Season 5 could be the last for Suicide Squad considering that the developers have not currently planned anything beyond the current roadmap
