In 2018, Santa Monica Studios achieved a truly commendable feat: revolutionizing and renewing the God of War series at the same time with a title featuring a setting and pantheon of deities completely different from the warm lands of Greece, bringing Kratos to interact directly with Norse myth.
With a more mature appearance and a long beard, Kratos is now the father of Atreus , his son with Faye, who died prematurely. The task of the two is simple on paper: to go to the top of the highest mountain in the Nine Realms to spread the woman’s ashes. During the journey, however, they encounter many legendary creatures and adversaries, such as the Queen of the Valkyries: the very powerful Sigrun .
Cosplayer and big fan of the game by Santa Monica Studios, Skathi , has shared a short video where she shows the surprising results achieved after two years of work, necessary to create each part of the complex Sigrun costume . What is striking, in addition to the care of the metal plates and the helmet, are the wings that open through a device placed on the back. The final effect is truly exceptional and represents an incredible tribute to the regal Sigrun, one of the most challenging bosses of the 2018 God of War.
