Modder LukeYui has updated his Seamless Co-Op mod for Elden Ring to work with the recently released Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Seamless Co-Op mod for Elden Ring now works with Shadow of the Erdtree and adds optional invasions
Here’s the detailed list of changes shared by the modder:
- Compatible with Elden Ring version 1.12, including DLC Shadow of the Erdtree
- Completely rewritten code – some old bugs (like enemies falling through the floor) no longer occur
- Items received in conversations are now given to all players
- Event flags are now synchronized correctly
- Added enemy scaling options
- Player death counter is now a player banner option
- Added the ability to view the current session password in the game
- Compatible with ModEngine 2
- Matchmaking check: only people with the same mods will be able to connect with each other
- Added invasions (optional)
The modder also clarified that there are still some bugs in the mod:
While the mod isn’t perfect, it has reached a point where it can be used to play Elden Ring and DLC in co-op. I’m aware of some bugs still present in it and will continue to work on it after the initial release – the next few days will be important so that I can quickly fix any problematic issues if they arise.
The Seamless Co-Op mod was recently mentioned by Elden Ring creator Hidetaka Miyazaki himself, who said that such a free co-op system could very well be implemented in future games created by FromSoftware.
