Just a week after the PEGI rating appeared for a PC version of the original Resident Evil, there is now some exciting news for PC gamers and GOG users specifically: the classic Resident Evil trilogy is preparing to make its return to the digital store.
Thanks to a close agreement with Capcom , in fact, GOG will bring to its digital store the original versions of Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 Nemesis , published for the very first time in the second half of the 90s on PlayStation and then converted to more systems in subsequent years. It is therefore a real nostalgia operation that will allow players to rediscover these great Survival Horrors of the past that have contributed to making their genre increasingly popular throughout the world.
It should be noted, however, that the three games will not be distributed simultaneously on GOG: at the moment only the first game is available for purchase and download, with Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 Nemesis which will be published at a later date still to be defined . In addition, the three games will arrive on the store completely DRM-free and with all the contents already seen in their previous versions.
