EA Originals and Surgent Studios have published a trailer dedicated to the imminent launch of the 2.5D metroidvania Tales of Kenzera: ZAU . The development of the title was led by Abubakar Salim (Bayek from Assassin’s Creed Origins).
Tales of Kenzera: ZAU releases on April 23rd. From the start in the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog.

A grieving boy begins to read a Bantu story written by his late father. Adventure into the beautiful and treacherous lands of Kenzera from the perspective of Zau, a young shaman who made a deal with the god of death to bring his father back from the darkness.
With incredible abilities and unbending courage, you enter uncharted lands full of legends. Once full of life, Kenzera is now inhabited only by the wandering spirits of our ancestors. As Zau moves towards his goal, 3 powerful creatures lurk in anticipation, formidable in their power, but strangely familiar. Will shamanic dance captivate you?
Tales of Kenzera: ZAU will be released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. On Steam the game costs $18. After release the price will increase to $20. At launch, the title will be fully compatible with Steam Deck. There will be no Russian language.
