There has been talk for some time about the possible arrival of Redfall on PlayStation 5 and a version of Hi-Fi Rush in development for Nintendo Switch, with the latter even evaluated by PEGI in recent weeks. But apparently the plans fell through and the two games will never be released on the platforms mentioned.
With the sudden closure of Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks , an ax seems to be falling on these projects. As we know Redfall will no longer be supported and the game is definitely dead and buried, Arkane Austin was working on a big update scheduled for this month but the update will never come out. Consequently, with the stop to support, it is reasonable to think that a possible porting for PS5 has also been cancelled.
Regarding Hi-Fi Rush for Nintendo Switch , however, the words of Matt Booty have weight as he, in communicating the closure of Tango Gameworks, recalls that HI-Fi Rush remains playable on all the platforms on which it is available , apparently closing the door to any further conversion .
Hi-Fi Rush for Nintendo Switch has been evaluated by the European PEGI and therefore a publication seemed ideally imminent , barring last-minute surprises, however, the game should not see the light on Nintendo Switch nor on the next console from the Kyoto company, as there was so much noise.
