PS5 PRO: DID THEa TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS LEAK START FROM THE SONY DEVELOPER NETWORK?

Sony did not take the leak on the technical specifications of the PS5 PRO well and has launched an internal investigation to find out who is responsible for this unauthorized leak. It appears that the person behind the leak has access to the Sony Interactive Entertainment Developer Network, and that includes… apparently, a lot of people.

Sony Developer Network is a platform managed by the company which can only be accessed by verified and accredited developers. Recently, version 9.0 of the PlayStation 5 PRO development kit software appears to have been uploaded to the Sony Interactive Entertainment Developer Network along with extensive documentation with technical specifications and other details related to technical support.

Clearly it is difficult to trace the culprit since in addition to the internal teams of PlayStation Studios, developers from third-party publishers also have access to the server. Of course, this being the case, it would be an ” internal ” leak which will certainly not please Sony who, after the incident, could decide to limit access to this type of information by third-party developers .

At the moment Sony has not commented on the leak and the veracity of the leaks, so officially everything is silent on the part of the Japanese company, probably committed to identifying those responsible for the gesture.
