Larian Studios has revealed that physical copies of Baldur’s Gate 3 for PS5 will arrive late: unfortunately there have been production problems.
Larian Studios announced that the delay of North American physical copies of Baldur’s Gate 3 for PS5 will be available in July.
The team cites ” imposed changes to production, beyond our control .” It also explains that it is not possible to give access to a digital version as a replacement for the physical one. It must also be said that many would refuse this option, given that in this case we are talking about a collector’s version purchased precisely because it is in physical format.

“It is with regret that we must inform you of some unfortunate news .”
“We invite owners of the physical Deluxe Edition for consoles to take note of a further delay in shipments . Unfortunately, due to unforeseen production problems, the delivery of the PS5 copies destined for North America, originally scheduled for the end of current month, will be delayed and will occur in July.”
“Manufacturing changes beyond our control have forced us to follow specific processes established by manufacturers for the creation of PS5 discs. Unfortunately, the approval process for certain regions has taken significantly longer than expected. “
“We anticipate that all PS5 copies destined for North America will be ready in approximately 14 days, followed by an additional 10 days needed to begin direct delivery to players. We are also in contact with the manufacturer to evaluate the possibility of hiring additional temporary staff in order to to reduce assembly times.”
