New Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora patch adds 40 FPS on consoles and Intel XeSS
Ubisoft Massive has released a major update for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora , which adds a number of graphics features on PC and console. In particular, computer owners can now activate the Intel XeSS upscaler.
An additional graphics mode with 40 FPS appeared on consoles. The developers say that it is primarily designed for 120 Hz TVs – players will receive high-resolution images and smooth gameplay.
Digital Foundry tested Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on consoles and compared it with PC at maximum settings
Other changes in the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora patch include the addition of a fast travel option to Research Station Alpha, and controller button remapping no longer resets when restarting the game.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was released on December 7, 2023 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
