Native Super Auto Resolution on God of War and 11 other games: the complete list (for now)

Native Super Auto Resolution on God of War and 11 other games: the complete list (for now)

Here are the games on which Microsoft’s new Auto SR technology to improve frame rates and graphics in games via AI will be natively supported.

Last week we told you about Microsoft’s Automatic Super Resolution and how there was already a site to find out which games would support this technology , also called Auto SR, which should improve frame rate and graphics in games via Artificial Intelligence.

Well, by looking through the site in question which, we remind you, is called WorksOnWoA.com, it is also possible to find out which games will support Auto SR natively. The list is currently limited to just 12 games:

  • 7 Days to Die
  • BeamNG drive
  • Borderlands 3
  • Control
  • Dark Souls III
  • God of War
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance
  • Resident Evil 2
  • Resident Evil 3
  • Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
  • Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Some titles, such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Skyrim Special Edition, will support Auto SR via a manual toggle option. While the initial list isn’t bad at all, it’s important to point out that Auto SR will only work optimally with games that specifically integrate its support.

We also remind you that at the moment 747 games are listed as “perfect” for 1080p and 60fps, including Control Ultimate Edition. The full list of 19 “unplayable” games also includes well-known titles such as Fortnite, Roblox and PUBG, which do not work due to their anti-cheat measures. Furthermore, the site does not specify the graphics settings used: the games may run at the lowest detail level to reach the framerates and resolutions indicated by the editors.

It will be interesting to see how Auto SR compares with the upscaling technologies currently on the market, and above all how much the AI actually contributes to the improvement of graphics and performance. We don’t yet have information regarding quality presets or performance differences, but comparisons with existing upscaling technologies will be key to evaluating Auto SR’s effectiveness
